At his funeral 20 or more teens gave their lives to Jesus and excepted him as their Savior and Lord. Teens are lost in this world and outreach is desperately needed to them. Pray my son will be protected by the Lord as he seeks God's will for him in this world.

Comment on The CHURCH:

I love the statement posted here that reads the first thing to remember is Jesus is the head of the church. As leaders, it is our responsibility to get the mind of Christ for the Church he has given us. We must know what direction he wants us to lead the church.

This is so important because whether we want to believe it or not we have lost an entire generation of young people.
We have allowed them to be sucked into a false gospel of material wealth, and a gospel that does not teach them the words of Christ. We have not taught our young to deny self and follow Christ.
We have lost a generation that is hearing its okay to preach about your potential, your destiny, your God given right.
We have lost a generation that is being lied to; told they have the blessing of Abraham, "He was rich and you are suppose to have the same thing."
The truth is, the blessings of Abraham is justification by faith.
Oh how long before we lead our churches back to Christ Jesus who died for his body (the Church)?
Scripture is twisted and our young are told to call those things that be not as though they were.
The scripture reads, Romans 4:17 I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickenth the dead, and calleth those things that be not as though they were. The bible says Abraham believed God, the God who is able to call those things that be not. But todays church leaders are saying you can do it also, borrowing from element of the little god doctrine, where man has the same ability's as God the Father, and God is a puppet who must do what we say.

We, the true church, have allowed young and old to become self centered.
We see the same flesh driven acts of religion offered to Jesus at his temptation and we have failed by not speaking out.
Since the church is a body of believers, it is time we return to teaching our people that as Christians we will suffer.
As Christians we will not always have the best in this life, but we will behold the face of the one who died for us.
We must return to teaching on the blood and how it has saves, heals and justifies.
We must get back to telling and showing young and old church members how it is important to walk in the spirit.

WHY? Because of what verse 14 warns us against. That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting...

When we do as the Lord commands we avoid the above verse.
May God Bless and keep you. May He pour out His blessing upon you.

Rev Patrick Williams
TMCI-Bread And Wine Ministries

Comment on The CHURCH:

A very apt and timely word. Thank you. This touches strongly on some things at the fellowship we attend and also the net board where we minister. God bless you.

Comment on Africa Mission Trip Report 12-2007 "What a Mighty God We Serve!"

I just rejoice for what God is doing in Africa and I am so glad that I can be a part of what the Lord is doing in the earth in my lifetime. For both a new convert and someone well seasoned in the things of God. It is important to learn how to pray.

In Matthew 6:9, Jesus said to pray after this manner:

"Our Father which art in heaven."

He is saying there is relationship in the term, OUR FATHER. No man can call Him Father who is not His. This means there is a Father son relationship.
Jesus also describes where the Father is, heaven.

Next he said, (Hallowed) Holy be thy name.

It is so important is reverence His name and who he is. John 4:24 reads,"God is a spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. We must know who we are praying to. The Jewish people would not speak His name because He is holy, and they feared (godly fear) and respected Him.

I love Christ's next words,

"Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as in heaven."

God has complete control and authority over His kingdom in heaven, and Jesus is saying thy kingdom come to earth, with this same authority. This authority was given to Jesus who gave back that which was lost at man's fall. Man's authority comes from the Father, through Jesus.
So we see we have authority to pray in the name of Jesus, our lord and savior.

"Give us this day our daily bread."

Give us your life changing word Lord. The word that washes us clean.
Jesus was teaching to speak God's will in the earth and in our life. By doing this we can pray for the sick, as well as ourselves.
Our prayers must align with the will of the Father, in faith, believing.

Jesus last words in Mark 16:17 were,

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.
They shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

All of these things can be found in the life of a person who prays. These signs are all anchored in prayer and faith in God, who is able to do far above anything we could hope.
Prayer is communication with the Father, in spirit.
May God bless you all.

Comment on Prayer Element – Teaching #1: Element for Successful Ministry

My father and I taught and practiced outreach evangelism using this PRAYER ELEMENT and saw lives changed and many miracles. I always thought of it as doing as Jesus did - ministering to need to open hearts and minds. It is unbelievably effective. Often people would open the door to "asking how to meet Jesus" because they could feel His love. They could not believe we simply cared enough come to pray for them without asking or expecting they come to church, join, give money, etc
Your QUOTE Prayer can be a very effective evangelistic tool. Here is how it works: Send your people into the neighborhood and go to the unchurched people for prayer requests. It is best to send them out two by two...have them tell the neighbor that your church believes in the power of prayer and that you will be praying a certain night (for example ... Thursday night), Ask them if they have a prayer request. Then pray for that request. Go back within two weeks. Ask those you prayed for if their prayer was answered. If no, tell them you will continue to pray for the need. If yes ask if they have another prayer request. Then pray for that new need. Repeat this process. Eventually people will start to respond as they see God working through your church.
